The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety.

I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and the friendly people at the hotel. It created a really nice and relaxed vibe during my stay. the location was great as it was only a short walk to the beautiful beaches and nearby attractions. One of the best aspects was the clean and well-maintained facilities, which made my stay comfortable.
I found that the lack of internet and power plugs for charging my phone was a bit inconvenient. However, considering the overall eco-friendly nature of the place, it wasn't a major issue.

Our stay at Balam Camping & Cabanas was fantastic! The cleanliness of the facilities exceeded our expectations, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach just a short walk away and easy access to Punta Cocos and the village. What truly made our experience memorable was the incredible atmosphere created by the camp's staff. They not only provided excellent service and assistance, but they also fostered a sense of community among fellow travelers. As vegans/vegetarians, we appreciated the delicious meals prepared by the staff and the opportunity to learn new recipes. Thank you for an amazing week!
While the location was lovely, it was a bit far from the center and required a 25-30 minute walk or a taxi ride. Additionally, the heat inside the tent during our visit made it difficult to sleep, and we wished there was a fan available.

The camp is a hidden gem with a motivated staff that foster a sense of belonging. They go above and beyond, organizing activities like BBQs and drawing sand-paintings. the kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of hammocks and a lounge to relax, and the showers and bathrooms are fancy. the camp's location, although a bit far from the center and the ferry, allows for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. the nearby beaches, especially Playa Coco and a secluded beach on the north coast, are breathtaking. the camp promotes sustainability, with initiatives like recycling and water conservation, making it an eco-friendly option for travelers.
Felt at home, no complaints at all.
